Built here.Built for here.
JumlaJumla is Tanzania's commerce, delivery and fintech ecosystem — connecting food, products, services, riders, credit and the businesses that power everyday life.
We didn't want to fix delivery. We wanted to own it.
JumlaJumla started the way most Tanzanian problems are solved — after dark, on WhatsApp, finding out why a customer's dinner never arrived. The neighbourhood apps were renting other people's riders, other people's software, and losing the margin and the reliability on every trip.
So we built the whole chain ourselves: the ordering apps, the vendor tooling, the routing engine, the dispatch, the wallet. When we needed capital for riders, we built credit. When businesses asked to borrow the fleet, we wrote an API. The products keep changing; the principle doesn't — end-to-end means end-to-end.
Today the ecosystem is live in Dar es Salaam — food, services, shopping, parcels, e-bikes and credit moving through one network — with Arusha signed, Zanzibar next, and the fleet open behind partner businesses.

Milestones, not theories.
Msosi goes live
Food delivery launches in Dar es Salaam with a small fleet and a big idea: own the whole stack.
Beyond food
Supermarkets, pharmacies, beauty and parcel delivery join the platform. The super-app takes shape.
Money moves
Wallet, cashback, credit scoring and the first bike-loan cohorts go live. Transactions become financial identity.
Open rails
The Fleet API opens JumlaJumla's delivery network to businesses. Arusha and Zanzibar come next.
Four rules we keep.
Reality first
We build for the streets, the traffic, the power cuts and the real behaviour of our customers — not a slide deck.
Move with care
Every order is someone's day. We treat speed and reliability as a form of respect.
Own the outcome
We don't hand off responsibility at the edge of our platform. End-to-end means end-to-end.
Grow the network
Vendors, riders, customers and partners all rise together. A stronger ecosystem is the whole point.

4.8 average across our apps
“Kila siku naituma chakula changu bila kutoka pwani —na kinawasili moto. When the rider says 12 minutes, it's 12 minutes.”

“The app pays me every week and the bike is mine in a year. Never had a job that turned a shift into an asset.”

“Being on the platform tripled the weekend orders. The dispatch knows my kitchen's rhythm better than I do.”
